Actually, it kind of makes sense. Early on in development I'd guess they'd need to pick an engine and develop on that, right? If they started development a couple years ago, they'd be using a much more advanced engine and be able to include much better lighting and detail.I'm surprised that the graphics don't look as good as they should for being in development for 12 years...
They just couldn't keep ahead of the curve.
