If you mean Attributes Editor, you can access it by clicking on the first button(from left) in the top right hand corner (just under "0:55" on your screenshot) or by pressing CTRL+A.

Try restoring preferences to default.

Not sure about mac but in windows you can delete/rename preferences folder and that will force Maya to restore itself to default settings. This might be worth trying. If that won't help I'd try reinstalling.

ok, i didn't read the thread. i take it you have construction history turned on? are you creating a primitive from a shelf button or the menu?

I have seen a thread similar to this some time ago and it was also on a Mac. It was Maya 2008 though as I recall. But the symptoms were the same - no attributes in the channel box / the entire channel box did not appear to be getting redrawn.

As memory serves it turned out to be a graphics card issue and the channel box area was not being redrawn / updated properly.

Unfortunately, I know very little about how Macs work and I am not sure how to check or update graphics drivers and such.

You may want to check your hardware specs and then cross check with the approved hardware list at autodesk.com. There may also be something in the known problems database at the autodesk area forums.

I can create the objects with the menu. All function i think that are correct... only this error... that i can¡t see the channel box.

I think that my drivers of my graphic cards are updated, cause if not mac automaticatlly update them. And i saw in the web of autodesk and my graphic card in theory works good with maya 2012.
