Okay, i am working on a project with a 'turbosquid model' of a man. I was having trouble selecting his lungs through his skin layer. So, i turned his skin off in the materials box to right of screen.

now its not viable on the screen where do i go to flick the switch to turn the b**ger back on?

Edit:used the hide option in display to hide stuff

such a simple thing but if you don't know what your looking for your skuppered. I have been thrown in at the deep end and I'm trying to animate render and light with no training. like i said, thanks. Not even a little "lol...newbee".

ha! have you ever tried to track an anamorphic shot? you might not like anamorphic lenses so much.

just for my own edification an anamorphic lens stretches a wide screen image such that it fills a normal film frame (standard 4:3 ratio). The image uses the entire frame but the image is distorted from its widescreen aspect ratio. Then the image needs to be projected back through a complimentary lens to project it back at the proper wide screen aspect ratio.

Is this the correct idea?

there is a lot of distortion on these lenses as you can imagine. Its just a real hassle to track them. We dont often get anything anamorphic tho. user added image
