Imp

working on a project for Liz Vicious comics by making it come to life in 3D, or at least attempting to. Here's a WIP of the basic imp that shows up in the comic, just the head so far.

Do you have a proxy cage on it? looking good, there are a few spots I would look at. Right above the brow there is a 7 sides face, and then above the second upper tooth there is a 5 sided and above the first upper tooth.

Posting a pic, you can either try and get rid of a few of those loops or go with what I did, I dont know if my idea was the best but it would get rid of them.

oh that one yea reason I didn't take it all the way back was that it ended up naturally making a crease in the flesh that i wanted anyway user added image

and some areas i did tweak at least while in smooth preview. Mainly the teeth.

Sorry MamoruK but I think you need to start again, you have to meny ngons (polys with more then 4 sides) and tri's to fix it would be easier to start again maybe first look at some tutorials..................dave

I know what you are saying MamoruK (using the smooth poly will turn those into 4 sided polys) but it will still be a bad mesh, if you want to animate it, it will deform in odd ways and I think texturing will also be effected..............dave
