Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Am I doing this Sceleton right?

Alright, I'm trying to make a sceleton for the Luxo Jr WIP I posted in yesterday...

this is what I have so far... and since it's my first sceleton, I dont know if I"m doing this right..

The first thing i think I"m messing up is the Local Rotational Axis... I can see it's all messed upu but I dont know how to move the joints so they point in the right direction user added image

I fixed the local Rotational axis (thanks to mike)

I plan to use IK handles and then put SDKs to it...
