I agree with Dom, it makes sense to credit the tutorial in your youtube description, even if you made it your own in some way. You've done a great job, but whether intentional or not, it kinda looks like it's being passed off as your own design?
I created the tutorial and also agree you should link it back to here.
Really good job on the modelling btw and i hope you gained some knowledge from doing it.
jesus.. thanks mate.. you were a big help too.. wow.. i never win here.. the tutorial was from here for god sake.. i thought everyone kbew that.. i said thanks guys
yea 14,000 hits is amazing and doesnt fail to amaze me in a good way
the link.. to assume i would know none of you knew it was from here.., well i put it here for john basically and he doesnt need the tut.. and tose who might like to get it from here.. of curse if it wasnt from here i wouldnt put it here.. id argure its just as difficult to look for it.. whatever this has nothing to do with my thread...
if someone is passionate enough could they please put the link here.., iot just go to the tut section.. its there
If I understand you, I think you missed what we were all saying. Don't link the tutorial in THIS thread, link the tutorial on your youtube page where everyone is congratulating you on your beautiful design.
I don't mean to be rude, I just think it's common courtesy to do when you showcase work. Credit where credit is due and all that. We know it's a simply maya tut, but your youtube followers don't.
sorry but i just looked through the comments and you didn't mention simplymaya or the fact that it is a tutorial. I just think thats a bit weird.
...and i don't care that you don't care.
