Importing a rigged object into another scene - it "breaks apart"
Hello, its' been a while since I done Maya and I recently started to renew my skills. I'm having a problem that's been bugging me for hours now and I cannot seem to figure it out.
I made a simple palm tree and I rigged the trunk so I can make lots of different looking trees without having to model each of them from scratch. The rig works fine in it's own scene, but the problem occurs when I import it into my main scene (beach) - the rig "breaks" apart so I cannot bend the trunk properly anymore.
Any idea what the problem/solution might be?
