It's not just me being offended.

When you just dismiss everyone else's real issues with Maya as "user error" just because, for what you do and on the hardware you use, it's working.

I mean really, "user error" is just a backhanded way of calling people idiots. I doubt you are using every feature in Maya. I have seen the internal bug reports for the last four releases of Maya and there is a reason the tested / supported hardware list has been nearly cut in half since the release of Maya 2010 and it's not "user error".

if Maya 7 had viewport 2.0 and physical sun and sky I would never have upgraded
