MIA Matx and bump map no go!

Hey All,

I have tried adding this texture to the bump, both standard and overall, and even into the reflection color just to see if it will work.

I have created a new matx and tried it all over again. I have delete preferences numerous times throughout this ordeal and still the same result.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I'd like to get to the issues of the glossy look and make it more like a shiny leather glass case instead of a glass like finish, but this issue is one that I can't seem to fix.

I've attached my hypershade, render and the attrib of the matx.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh yeah, I also did this procedure in a completely new scene and it still isn't working either.

Assign the texture to the standard bump slot. In the file node of the texture you are using, under color balance, ensure Alpha is Luminance is checked.

Have you tried scaling up/down the 3d texture placement node? The texture is probably too small/big to see the bump.
