Creature Design

Hey guys, I want to try doing something I have never done before...Include measurements and scale for the head, neck, torso, biceps, elbow, forearms, hands, fingers, waist, hips, thighs, knees, shins, and feet. Do you guys do this when drawing or setting up a character sheet? If so mind sharing some of them so I can get an idea of how you do it? I have been looking around a lot but mostly found just concepts without this stuff.
