There is however an anomaly that shows up on the right click pop-up menu. There's a selection for painting skin weights. Not sure what that's about. This mystery model has gotten me baffled.

That actually worked. But I don't see why it didn't show up the first time I rendered it when it was showing as polygon object and it had a regular lambert texture.I think Genny found a fix for this export as a object then reimport into a new scene..........dave
