Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

demo reel animations

so i'm just gonna post any little animations i do in this thread for you guys to rip apart as you see fit files too big to post directly so i'll just have to link them to you so here's my most recent one, an attack animation, that i would like some critiques on if you would please be so kind user added image

I've still got 3 weeks to complete this so feel free to nit pick as many details as possible

It's not bad as a start, but you need to go into the curve editor and play with the tangents. At the moment it feels robotic, and floaty. Try to make them more fluid, and add some overlapping motion to your joints.

thx ND yea its only my first pass after blocking it out working on elbow and wrist overlaps right now.
