Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

volume emitter color

hello. i have created nDynamics emitter but i can't find out, how to change the color of emitted particles. i've looked through every node and tried to change colors where i could find them, but particles stay black.

What are you emmitting clouds, points other, the default shader for particals is the one you see in the hypershade called (particalCloud). Is it rendering them in maya render or is the problem mental ray.............dave

so. when i figured out right, the problem was that some shaders from other objects in the scene were connected to the particle clouds. i deleted the connection, created new particle material, attached it to emitting clouds, but now there's nothing when i'm rendering the picture.
