This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Maya image texture crash...

i'm trying to add a sequence of images as a background for this project, but everytime i try to add the texture image file, maya keeps crashing as you can see in the image. highlighted in white is the texture file i'm using to add the image sequence from the directory. does anyone know why this is happening? thanks for all your replies.

btw, how can you tell if maya has the service pack 1 installed? i checked the "About Maya" under the help menu, but i don't see anything that says service pack 1 is installed. anyone know?

help > about maya shows the version including the service pack number so if you do not see a service pack then you most likely do not have it installed.
