INPUTS WILLNOT APPEAR

Everything I find says that deleting the history, or turning history on or off, will cause the INPUTS to reappear within the channel box area. This does work when I create a new primitive, however, when I open my model which I've been working on for hours and hours, that's been newly completed, nothing I do seems to bring back the area (INPUTS) where I can affect the number of subdivisions across the entire model. What do? Please help.

Have you deleted the history ? if you have then you cannot get the input field back and will be stuck with the subdivision level you are at i'm afraid.
Also if you create a primitive with the history turned off you will never have any input history even if you turn on history afterward.

Deleting the history will remove the inputs, i.e. the construction history, NOT bring it back. Once it's deleted, you can't get it back. Do you want to reduce the divisions on your model or increase them? There may be ways to do either without worrying about the construction history.
