Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
So I have a mermaid that's all modeled and stuff, but I'm having a problem with rigging her tail. I'm not exactly sure to use Spline Ik handles and put locators along the curves or use the regular Ik handel. This is my first time rigging a mermaid. Also I'm using Maya 2012.
