Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

problem launching maya 2013

Hi i just installed maya 2013(64b version) and when i try to launch it i get an error:

"the program can't start because d3dx9_43.dll is missing from your computer.Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"

i got a error fixer and instead of this error was:
"the program......0xc0000007b)

i also downloaded the dll and paste it at:
-maya->bin
-windows/system32
-windows/Syswow64

and then went to:
-CMD->type regsvr32 d3dx9_43.dll and then another error
"The module d3dx9_43.dll failed to load
Make sure the binary is stored at the specific path or debug it to check
for problems with the binary or dependent .dll files
The specified module could not be found"

I've a fresh win 7 64b with all the updates,any ideas what is happening?

That's a DirectX error and it's not a good idea to download the dll and manually install it, i would remove it and install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX .Upgrading to the latest version of DirectX will usually fix the d3dx9_43.dll not found error.

You could also update your drivers for you graphics card.
