Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

mech vs tank

almost completed my current animation of a robot destroying a tank. gunna be the longest render i had to wait for so far in my maya adventures

Shadows need to be turned on, it goes a long way into making a scene believable(raytraced shadows are more physically accurate that depth mapped shadows). Also, what renderer are you using?

Did you have more details of that tank?
And the environment needs more work.
