"A Darkness at Sethanon", a book I aspire to model some of the charcters and scenes
I have scaled it up a bit for the printer. Having tested on a few wee models I have now modelled a plane for my 2 year old angel Kailani Its a simple Sopwith Camel aircraft, nothing special as I needed something to use to cut up and ready as a proper model kit type arrangement. I am using the printers full volume and have separated this puppy into quite a few parts. Getting it cut right and pins/postholes in it was a PITA. As far as I am aware my printer does not have a nesting function, so I will be experimenting by placing parts in my program and see if I can stack them successfully....wish me luck

^ Is this the UI for the printer? Haven't really looked into the stuff much. Only know of the tech and the ideas involved. Sure it can't be too hard to figure out with my base knowledge. I was heavily impressed by a bronze cast done with a ZBrush sculpt and then printed out.
Ha forgot about that!. Ok I have had some trouble getting the 2 halves together without any seams. Have had to guy buy some putty and see if that works. This is one of Jays sculpts, I did a mini one first then a large one for testing. Printer seems to print the 'hole' side nice and planar but the 'pin' side seems to end up with residue, therefore making it very hard to glue together without a seam.
Cheers bullet
