Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Scene files not loading! Please help!

My first post, so I apologize in advance if I sound crazy. But heres the issue:

I work on my file at home with Student version of Maya 2013, and use the licensed version of 2013 at school. I last worked on the file at school with windows 7. I am using windows 8.1 on an acer laptop at home. When I load my scene (after setting the project) it acts like it is loading, but then it looks just like nothing loaded. It will have the name of the file, but it looks like I have not modeled anything in it. I transfer the file back and forth using a thumb drive. Is the file just gone? It still has a file size. I appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

Look in the Outliner, are all your objects still there?

Outliner

No nothing is in the outliner, its s if I opened a new file, but it keeps the name of the saved file. The file works on the computers at school still, and I can open older versions of the file.
