about maya 2015

i switched to maya 2015 and have some troubles with it.
where's "find menu" function?
how to turn off hints, like when you press 4, there's useless hint "press 5 for shaded mode".

I'm not sure what you mean by "find menu function" but the viewport popup messages can be turned off in Window>Settings and Preferrences>Preferences:Help. Disable the in view messages.

in previous versions of maya there is "find menu" function in the "help" tab. you write the name of any needed button and the program gives you the exact path to it.

There is some irony in not being able to find the "find menu" menu. As far as I know, they got rid of it, and that frustrates me too.

The find menu is buried under the help tab / Resources & Tools sub menu.

Hope this helps user added image .

Well what do you know, there it is, right by "Download Vegetation". That's got to be one of my new favorite Maya commands, along with "View Infinity" and "Make Motor Boats". What a powerful piece of software.

I too am still running Maya 2012
are the new features in 2015 worth me doing an upgrade?
is 2015 stable and bug free? or am I to expect issues like people had with 2014?
And am I to presume there's a version of Bonus Tools available for 2015?

TIA for any help/answers
