Maya auto created duplicate keys

Good day all!

When I opened my scene today I discovered that Maya had created a new extra key at a frame position .11 after a previously made key. How is it possible that Maya does that 'on it's own'? Now I have to go and eliminate all those .11 keys to keep the timeline 'clean'!

Thanks for any suggestions...

Cheers!

My guess is that 's' was hit accidentally and keys created. Or, if you're suggesting that keys are on a fraction of a frame (0.11?) Perhaps some keys got temporally scaled accidentally. I'm not sure if Maya is capable of creating keys on its own. Is auto-key on?

Hi stwert,
Thanks for your reply. No I don't animate with autokey so it could not be that.

Yes the new keys were on a fraction of a frame and were in fact minimally different that the 'real' key (.11 difference).

The scene had like 100+ keys so it is not possible I hit accidently the 's' key on the fraction frames.

Anyway I was able to back track with a previous version thanks to autosave but still, it's disconcerting.

Cheers....
