Simple questions from a simple newbie

Hi, I'm used to SketchUp and moved to Maya for modeling buildings for a game (precisely, Cities Skylines)
I know just basic things such as creating boxes, extruding, etc, which are okay for buildings. lol
I tried looking over the internet but couldn't find any, probably I didn't used the right keywords. Well, I always find any solution (others than these) on this forum, decided to give a try!
Please, don't take too hard on me. I just started 3D modeling and loved it!
Obs: I try to maintain the poly count low!

1- When I zoom out, the mesh shows these black "interference" thing. They don't give me any issue, but is there a way to eliminate these things? Sometime, they mess with my eyes so much! https://i.imgur.com/hhNmhxR.jpg

2- Here's a situation that I've never seen on videos/tutorials. I want to delete all those messy edges, so select them. (https://i.imgur.com/97Jek9y.jpg) After, I press Ctrl+Del to delete the vertexes. But the windows turns into.. nothing! (https://i.imgur.com/HZR4fOh.jpg) If I press only Del, some edges doesnt delete. (https://i.imgur.com/3CmcyT2.jpg). Is there anyway to delete those edges and maintain only the windows?

3- My Duplicate Special isn't working properly.. When I press Shift+Ctrl+D or Edit>Duplicate Special, the mesh doesnt duplicate. It shows only a edge, nothing more. I checked the settings but they are identical as the tutorials. It was working fine a while ago, what happened? user added image

Thanks!

1.That seems like a camera clipping plan issue. Could be that the near clip value is too low in relation to the far clip.

2. The area around the window sill looks really odd, like some extra edges sitting on top of each other. Might need to merge some verts and start deleting edges that are not connecting to the window sill area first.

3. Don't know why that's happening. Did the script editor show any errors?

I put 10/20 to Near/Far clip but still goes on.. Well, i think I can live with this..
Dont know which verts are good to merge, I merge some but they turn the mesh into a complete mess. :s I'll try to make those windows by another way..
No errors.. well, this time, not even an edge showed. (config: https://i.imgur.com/ueMXofx.jpg, result: https://i.imgur.com/dxzwJcz.jpg)

Think of near/far clip values in terms of scene units. I think 10/20 may be a bit narrow, try 1/1000.

Without actually checking out the model, it's difficult to really tell what's going on with those edges. And I don't recall seeing that duplication problem before. The object is selected so it's there (what does the Outliner look like?). As a last resort, try swapping out your prefs folder.

Nice! Solved the clip issue! Looks like changing it via Window>Settings wasnt working, fixed it via View > Camera Attribute Editor.

Solved the duplicate issue renaming the prefs folder.. Probably it was my fault.
And well, redid the windows using another mesh. Thanks a lot!
