Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Greetings

Just wanted to say thanks for the great resources here. I am studying from Animschool and finished the Intro classes for modelling and rigging. I know that I have a very long way to go but I love it. It`s a bit difficult studying while working fulltime but i`ve learned to use every small moment I can get.
For awhile I want to get a good base and learn all I can. There is also a slowly ongoing study of the classics such as color theory and composition and I see that there is some anatomy in the future as well.
I know its said that Maya is not the best tool for it But am very much interested in creating architecture as well as characters, clothes, weapons, well props and such.
I`ll try to find the answers to the endless questions before I post but thanks for all the help in advance. Now, back to lurking user added image

Hi Scott, I too am studying with Animschool and have been using the tutorials on this site for several years now to learn modeling. The forums are great for getting top quality help as well.
Hope the studies go well.

Cheers, the Yeti.

The greatest need I have is time. Never seems to be enough. Still learning to be disciplined and focused but will refine that as I go. Do you have a site with your work?
