Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Short Film Animation

I'm attempting a short film in Maya 2016. I'm unsure the best way to animate a walk/run sequence. Would it be better to animate the walk/run from point A to point B entirely with key frames or could I do it by binding the walk/run animation to a control handle so as I move the control handle the characters walk/run animation plays?

Depends. If scene is short and you don't plan to reuse character later, do it manually without controllers.
If scene is longer and you plan to use character later, do with controllers. However those are time consuming to create.
