This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
I used this tool (https://weavesilk.com), to create textures (with a little bit of Photoshop layering etc):
1. An alpha (cutout opacity), (red image = Phoptoshop alpha)
2. Translucency
3. Spec (added a ridiculous amount of noise)
4. Normal Map - (noisy, overly sharpened image taken into "crazy Bump" for export)
So it is a 3D effect but nothing special. It works though.
