Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
So I created a plane that emulates snowfall in Maya by dropping particles from it. It looks fairly good in the viewport, and it falls very peacefully and just as good as I need it to. When I try to render with Arnold, however, no snow appears. I checked into it, and people said I needed to use Maya Hardware rendering instead. I switched to that, and Maya began crashing over and over again, even giving me the BSoD one time (which scared me pretty bad, as I didn't have any of my files backed up from the last month). Is there a way to create snowfall using Arnold? Thanks in advance!
