Hey Nem,
For firewire, look for "IEEE 1394"
Like I mentioned before, I purchased the asus a7n8x "deluxe" and it has firewire support. I believe only the deluxe version will have the firewire support though.

You're asking if this mobo's fire supports OHCI... I'm not sure, but I'll look around and see what I can find.
