Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

will maya run on this laptop?

Hi - I am thinking about buying a laptop and was just wondering if the following spec. could handle Maya, its a HP ze5270 notebook:

Intel® Pentium®4 Processor 2.4GHz
ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON™; AGP 4X and 3D architecture
512MB DDR SDRAM (2x256MB) at 266MHz at 266MHz;

If this is not up to the job - are there any laptops that could handle maya?
Thanks

How much ram on the video card? Assuming that it's at least 32 MB, then, yes, this laptop will run Maya just fine.

joey: should be fine, but (not wanting to start WW3) if you have the option get nvidia based graphics - generally alot less problematic with maya.
