This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

this is NOT a final render! I still have to work on it today.. it ends at midnight tonight :O
other than that, thanks kevin ... I just never tried to put lots of polys and detail into what i did, now im trying to strategically think over the best ways to do things instead of just doing it , and hidalgo.. , thanks. Cya around the board .

Alright, here is my final render, the shadows had a harsh line... but that is what i will be figuring out next, along with texturing in the WIP section . Now we can start up that poll.... either kevin or i will do it when i get back . Cya.

Thanks guys . Just letting you know twisted.. that is the gun rendered at 1024 at highest quality with a GI_Joe on. If you meant with textures... then i agree . Also, jkloaroe's gun is a page or 2 back .

Less than 2 minutes, my computer is definately doing wonders for rendering. The GFX card i have really has amazed me, not to mention its a new computer.. i have went almost 4 years with the same computer, then i was able to get this one just after christmas .

I wanna see that model smoothed more - looks damn nice tho ! but it still looks as if the base model (the lowrez version) is recieving shadows .... this can be turned off in the attribute editor under Rendering settings.

Ok, i went a bit more into it .. now i have this gun with few rough edges, if not less than 10 . Anyways, i just started a render right now with this model at over 30,000 polys, with a default GI_Joe on it, and its rendering at 1024 and production/highest quality :O. Lets see how long this takes .
