good start! but why do you post a pic with the maya renderer on it? save this (right mouse button) to your harddisk.... and than post it...

It's a good start, you need to work on some details e.g. wrinkles around the eyelids (some eyes!! user added image wrinkles round the nose and mouth etc. then start thinking about your textures eg bump mapps, fur etc

Good start, I hope you keep working on it and let us seem some more.
