This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.

after having read Stephen King's "Dreamcatcher" this felt like the logical th9ing to do... (I heard they pretty much wrecked the alien's design in the movie, but that seems to be becoming a tradition with Stephen King movies...)
I'm right now adding some muscle/bone definition and legs of course. I'll keep you guys updated.
oh, and when I said refining I didn't mean the actual maya function; this is all still level 0... I'm switching between SubD and polys a lot, so I'll wait with the level 1 and 2 refinement until the legs and feet are there.
