I am a Newb With some Questions~

Hi, some of these questions may seem really dumb to you pros out there, but anyway, I am wondering how I add a particle emitter to a 10x20 nurb plane? And also where can I get maya fusion? And how much. Thanks peace~:mingun:

are you wanting to emit from the surface? or just parent an emitter with a surface?

I would imagine Maya Fusion could be purchased from A|W.

Because I couldnt get it to work, but i think it is easy if you dont suck. But if someone can get it to work. Please tell me because I would like to try and make it work myself. Peace

Yeah, that is an old tutorial that most folks, nubees and pros alike, had trouble getting it to work.

It DOES work, you just have to keep tryinguser added image

Took a friend of mine 8 times till he figured it out... user added image

GREAT point polygon9000!

Might wanna try doing it in 2d if it is just a simple "logo" type of animation.

If you are trying to acheve the "flythrough" part, then things get a little more complicated.... user added image
