Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

You have a good point though, even with the material I have i would just be wasting time making a demo reel. It would be good demo reel practice, but its not like im trying to find a job. I think i will wait a few more months before i make anything. If anyone does have a favourite program for making a demo reel, i would like to know
