It doesn't give anything specific as to what it fixes but more a general try if you want...It is only necessary to install this update if you are currently experiencing difficulties with Maya 5.
I have had a few minor problems with Maya, more likely my lack of understanding than anything else and graphic card anomalies. Has anyone installed the update and is it worth doing?
