Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Hello Talimore & welcome to SM.. :p

if you could please be a bit more specific in your questions..
i'm thinkin' you want to texture your work.. right?
well the texturing process is done through the Hypershade..
Window > Rendering Editors > Hypershade...
is there you make your texture and assign it to you mesh..

for instance inside the Hypershade, click on a Blinn surface.. you can immediately see it added in the window aside it.. double click on the Blinn surface and the attribute editor will pop up, from there change it's color.. to let say blue!
close the attribute editor and select your mesh.. within the Hypershade right mouse button click on the blinn surface and choose Assign Material to Selection.. or right click on your mesh and go to Assign Existing Material > blinn1 (the one which we just made.. ).. check out the pic below..
i hope this is what you meant.. and is usefull to you.. :p

i hope this came out ok.. it's 6am, i'm tired.. & i can't sleep..
