Yep. That or you can win points by winning the monthly challenges or by becoming the member of the month by helping a lot of people and being really nice. Occasionally Kevin gives out special points to people out of the goodness of his heart. (used to at least I know)

But... I would seriously just buy the points. They're really cheap, so it's not like you're paying an arm and a leg.

"Cheap" is relative. After the cost of licenses of Maya Complete, Photoshop, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc., $25.77 (or whatever currency you're using) is nothing. I spend more at Starbucks in a week. user added image

Those were my exact words when I first started on this site,, but I keep coming back and downloaded the free videos and got hooked like a crack addict and finally paid for the VIP points,, a lot of talented people on the site that make the videos and very helpful community as well, stick a round and join the contests they have here and win points too.

We haven't raised the price in 2 years!!

at around a £1 for an half an hour of video its very cheap by anyones definition.

From a readers' Q and A column in TV GUIDE: "If we get involved in a nuclear war, would the electromagnetic pulses from exploding bombs damage my videotapes?"

ahh, just as I thought then. They are cheap. If they are the same price as what they used to be, you are getting a lot for a little bit of money. I was astonded when I first saw the price because it was so low. You appreciate costs like this when you take a look at other places around the web. user added image

this compared to many sites ive seen is incredibly low. especially considering the have video tutorials. Ive seen some sites charge 3 times as much for just a text document...

I keep meaning to get some points... but eh... i will later(forever a procrastinator.

Aw, Carmel Frap on a hot summer day. Nothing better. I like the triple Venti Mint Mocha on a cooler day. Coffee. I drink way to much.
