Elf-dude

Hi! First time I post here. Thought I should include a picture as well as just saying hello. user added image

I'm working on an elf-guy. I'm planning on making him into a scout/ranger-ish type of character. I havent gotten enough into the edge-looping yet, and I've got a few things to sort out in my mesh. Haven't been modelling for too long, so I welcome any constructive critique you guys have!

coolness.. I was wandering if we could see it with more even lighting though.. and if the bump is a texture, I would run a blur on it.. a tad to ruf, but that might just be my taste. (shrugs)

I like how angular the face is.
Keep it coming.

Here ya go, more light user added image The dark image was just a test I did goofing around. I've included the UV-maps to, 'cause I'm having a slight problem with them. As you can see, the UV's around the ears fly off the screen when I smooth the polygons... Any idea what might have gone wrong? I'll blur the bump as well, thanks for the heads up user added image He is looking a bit rough.

Ok. here are the UV-maps... I couldn't figure how I attached several images to one post...

EDIT: You can't attach more than one image but you can link more than one.

Yeah, I think you're right....I thought the chest was to puffed up, but I guess moving the chest down would fix a lot of it! Thanks for the crits! I'm also reworking some of the facial mesh... I'm trying to get the edgeloops down. Update coming soon!
