This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Ok guys I will post my work about that dragonfly mecha (named DF-001) tomorrow…
Sorry for this long interruption, but I have else to do at my work, and my full time was dedicated to that objective.
Sorry again, and I hope that you will like my concept.
Besides I don’t want to do just a dragon fly, I want to do a whole invasion of mecha insects…the DF-001 will be just for air-raid…
For the ground attack I think will be optimal some harvest bugs and some sort of spiders with thin body and long legs…
That’s all for today…see you tomorrow guys…
Glad you liked the competition, I´ll be prepared to update the ShowCase with your work. Great idea the one about multiple insects, however, try to put several of them in your update pics, since I´ve opened only one entry per competitor.
Added now the wings, and some other small details...now i have just to refine the head....and afterwards starting with texturing....that will be great fun ;O))
damm
can't believe what people are putiing into this comp
i think everyones doing a great job but
this is my opinion but you people in the normal comp have got a challenge bullet youve got to be in the top 5 modeler's in this site and you're showing every ounce of it man congrats
i know i can't design a head for my mech but if any one is having any real troubles heres a link to some pics of mechs/zoids based on animals https://darkzoids.vze.com/
