I do have a little story, but its not finish yet. And this toon setup doesn't take to long to render ether. So for an animation (Anime style) would take about one month to complete, and I'm talking about 5 to 10 mins long, maybe longer depending on how things go. By the way the animation part is my weakest area in maya, but I know just enough to make it possible user added image

I am thinking on making an animation on my own too on this summer brake from faculty, but I was thinking on few shorts with same character in various actions, its the best way to learn animation, and I will make me one web site for my presentation where I could run BLOG and upload my pictures and whole idea on site is for practicing the web developing for second year of that faculty of mine (web design)… I will inform you when I get started with it, maybe I could make you some kind of web site just for practicing and for old friendship with you. Send me a PM if you are interested!

This is some that I've always wanted to do, which is make an anime animation, now its possible with mental ray! So My original idea was to do a still render with this project but now an anime short, after discovering mental ray amazing powers user added image

So I guess that last real looking style render is the last you'll see of that type, (maybe).

I'm sorry if this change of plan has disappointed anyone.

I have a Quick Time Movie, 5 second test toon style of the girl.

But I have no way to upload it user added image

It's small enough, why not just compress it to zip or rar then upload?

Yeah that took 30mins to render, which is 135 frames, not bad really.

I plan on making a half hour movie in this style. But first I need to work on the story board and get it completed first. And then build some backgrounds base on the story board. I'm even thinking about adding voices to the characters user added image

Anyways I have a lot of thinking and work ahaed!
