This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
Very nice, much better. With regards to the projecion mapping, are you using the one from the essence book or something else? Im intrigued as it something Ive been wanting to look into, I'd appreciate any light you can shed on the subject.
Jay, I actually purchased a video from gnomon called "Texture Painting: Fundamentals" by Paul Campion. The guy is not as thorough as the Alex training videos, but its enough to give you a good grasp on how it works. The amazing thing is how quickly you can create a realistic texture.
Hi Guys, thx all for the comments. I added fur and a bit of skin surface on the inner side of the eyes. It actually helped eliminate a shadow that was forming up in there that wasn't looking good. I may play a little more with this guys, but I think im ready for the next challenge.
