Wow, Im speechless!
I really hope to be able to use maya as well as you do someday!
And that randommember guy is a moron. Dont listen to him. yOU have great skills and experience, as well as a bucketful of talent.
So, thats what I have to say. Love the 3d-2d look, adds a nice touch to it.

Cant w8 to see it finished!

Man I've been following this thread from the beginning and only missed a week of posts . . . how so much has changed. This scene looks awesome man. It just keeps getting better and better.

Yes there has been alot of changes, do to new ideas over the last 2 months.

Dragonhawk,

I spend about 6 to 12 hours on the average. But in the last 2 weeks i've been very busy moving, which I just got done doing today! Within that time I spent about 1 to 3 hours a day. There was one day that I did not even turn on my computer and that suck do to many ideas in one day that I really wanted to work on.

Anyway here a small update, I just added a small vehicle, that fix the life holding tank (where the anliens are being study).

Hope you guys like it, I still have more to do on the vehicle though, as well as the whole scene.

gohan1842, starting to look like Metroid Prime? Hmm... well I have played like 10 mins of it for the game cube, which I bought so I could play resident evil 4! I'm a ps2 fan user added image

Dragonhawk, I'm not even sure why they are white like that, they have the very same shader as the other parts of the room.

Anyway, i'm getting tryed of this project:zzz: I well do more to it, but mental ray will not redner the scene anymore user added image

So I render with maya, oh well. My scene is 124 MB, so my ram gets really low and mental ray stops render about half way through.

Ok, here I go again. Texture time!

I was thinking about the scene and what needed more work, so yeah it needs texture, I think.

Here are to quick simple textures the I tested out on one of theose decks.

So what do you guys think, should I go through all the long hours of texture work, or should I call it finish?

Here are the texture tests. Its very shity right now, but it give you an idea of what the scene could look like fully textured.
