I don't you should be worried about Alias future but you should worry a bit more about Discreet after sending 150 people home.

NO I was saying that Max Discreet desktop divison has bigger problems than Alias. So I don't think anyone will switch from Maya to Max. If anyone does switch it will be to XSI.

I personally will get an apple machine if this happens and get final cut and shake. What else do you need?

Then again I will stick with PC. Arghhh I hope ALias does not go under :-O

you know whats scary? i alrready saw that happening on the two biggest effects schools in spain year ago: they switched to XSI+Avid combos as if there were no tomorrow (they still teach some maya and max but the big machinery, software and courseware advertising inversions went to xsi...)
