Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

I think you start off with too much geometry. The trick is to start with as little as possible and add as you need it.

here i'm nearly done with my lower arm...i need to make the area over the wrist a bit better...more details nedded...

yeah i agree with mike, i think tehres too much geometry in places where it isnt required, the fingers need to be fattened up as well user added image

help

but my "arm unsmoothed " post has an image with an lower arm which has the needed geometry...doesnt it???
If not plz draw some edges or so which can be deleted cause in this case i have made it as needed as possible....

Latino you crazy? lol you post i here? anyways...here i mady the upper leg better by adding detail and extrusion and merge some vertices or collapsing edges.i also added the Knee "stick".Know i'll model the Fingers and the lower leg and the foot need to get better.Then ill complete the arm by connecting the shapes with the append to poly Tool.And when my model is done ill try to delete much edges and polys in order to make it more low poly as mentioned from you all....well first here's a image of the upper leg unsmoothed selected and smoothed unselected....comments?

Nice thing! I don't have a large 3D knowledge so all that I can say that it is nice! waiting for it to be textured!
