Im busy making a R2 unit to fit inside the xwing. Im modelling all of the unit so that I can animate it being inserted in the xwing. But I got a problem with shadows on the render.

I extruded all the faces at the same time and added a spot light. The light is directed at the bottom of the r2. Any ideas where these shadows are coming from?

Thanx Jango, but I already fixed it . I had 2 rows of vertices close together which wasnt lining up. So I merged them all and that did the trick. thanx for your suggestion thoughuser added image
