Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

thx guys and yea it wasnt very hard to do. im gonna animate it today but should i texture it first. i have not used any textures yet so i have no idea what to do.

just 1 more question. what exactly do u mean bevel. im not that familiar with using bevel.

Edit Polygons>Bevel. I think that digital-tutors.com has a tuorial on bevel extrudes.

A bevel is basically a smoother/ less angular edge. If you have a 90 degree edge apply a bevel for a less sharper edge, you'll have two extra edges.

You could also soften the edges.
