Well I probably wont make it untill christmas anyway as I have parents evening tomorrow user added image, and If I do make it till christmas Im going to have to spent it all revising for my AS exams which take place in January user added image So that mel course is starting to sound good compared to what I have ahead of me. Anyway I did as you said mr J, brought the eares out and made them drop down slightly, gave the eyebrows more shape and worked on the lips. I also moved the whole mouth area and the chin closer to the nose. Is this any better?

i've been watching your projects all the time..you have many talents in maya there...keep it on...maybe we could make a little project there user added image
but I'm just "good" at modeling (not organic) and a bit uv-layout/texturing

hehe.. nice glasses. You could improve the model a bit by smoothing the shape of the head more, or increase the tessalitation (or how you spell that) if it's a sub-d-model. And the hair is waaaaay to white, some kind of shadow at least, thank you.

The head is poly, smoothed to a subdivision level of 1, I dont really want to have it too dense as I am planning on adding a body in the near future. I'll see what I can do about the hair though. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks Jango, much appriciated. I wrinkled him up a bit but I dont want to make him look too old if you know what I mean, thats why I missed out some of the more distinctive wrinkles. Anyway here is the result. I am pleased with the head as it looks now so I will leave it be for now, plus I dont want to spend forever working on is head... I mean he needs a body user added image

Hello Rubber,

I'm liking what you've done with the skin texture, it's very subtle, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in mind for the characters body. Take it easy,

Mat..

Thanks blomkaal and happymat user added image
Sadly I cannot take any credit for the texture as it is just a skin shader I downloaded from highend3d, but I did make the bump map user added image The body itself has got me stumped because I really need some good reference and I cant draw it myself as I dont have a scanner atm.... Guess Ill just have to keep looking.
