Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

The beggining of this character was something strange; i was too bored, and i began to model some eyelids; then i said 'well, ill continue'; and imagined something like that in my mind, no drawings, no photos; just some pics reference for the proportions (sometimes when im modeling, i forgot them a little user added image )

So, here is just a preview texture (bump and color), im still a newb at texturing, so, ill keep the best i can till the end user added image .. enjoy, c&c welcome.

nice. looks like he has some kinda disease around his mouth tho, no offense. it looks yellow when it should be sorta brown. good texture otherwise.

Is the character wearing lipstick? If so, disregard this post. If not, then the color is too vivid and the edge too sharp. try toning the saturation down and possibly blurring the edges so they blend to rest of the skin tone. I like the fact the surface has flaws. Makes it much more believable.

Maybe it's the angle, but the mouth seems small.
The corners of the mouth should pretty much line up with the middle of the eye.
Also, the ears....the top of the ear should align with the corners of the eyes and the bottom of the ear with the corner of your lips.
As for the nose.....it seems that its a tas skinny.
Ohter than that, love the texturing user added image
Keep it up dude!
