This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

This 1 point tutorial should be pretty close to how Jango does his cloth... yes?

A bit hard to tell from the small pictures, but yeah, I'd guess it's something like that... Hadn't noticed that one! user added image

Anyways, the model's coming along great, but I wouldn't expect anything else from the Mighty Jay user added image

WOW, looks like something I would leave floating in the toilet. Take that in a good way though. LOL, but I do have a........mentally right question. Why is there a gap in your model, are you going to use that spot for the nose? I know it takes alot of tweaking, so just wondering.

Ok, yeah. I probably should go to the doctor, mental one that is. But for some cunstructive stuff, I have a mini-interview for you. I just have seen alot of your work and thought it was really good, so I just want to ask you some questions.

1. How long have you been working with maya, and how did you start out with it?

2. Have you gone to school for any of this, or purchasd any tutorials (like long chain like tutorials, that are close to school)?

3. Are you experienced with any other 3d applications?

4. What do you use maya for, hobby or jobs, games or looks?

I may have already asked you some of the questions, but Im stupid, so if you could, please just give me an answear to a few if you can.

Wow an interview Woohoo

1. How long have you been working with maya, and how did you start out with it?

Nearly 5 years although somedays it feels like since Jesus!!

2. Have you gone to school for any of this, or purchasd any tutorials (like long chain like tutorials, that are close to school)?

No, pretty much self taught with no help. Got 5 days training though on Photoshop 3 back in '94 and did eight days college of Max but thats all forgotten now, What is Max anyway?

3. Are you experienced with any other 3d applications?

On a daily basis its just Maya but I did use Lightwave for 2 years or so

4. What do you use maya for, hobby or jobs, games or looks?

Work and hobby, have to pay the bills and have to stay sharp!!

Dude why are you stupid? Stupid people are the ones that dont ask and make out they know. Dont put yaself down!!

Awsome work. I'm impressed with the wrinkles and such. Would you happen to have any recommendations for a tutorial, article, or just giving a small summary on how to do it? If so it would be appreciated.

hey J.

'bout time u made a tut user added image

i like the consistency with all your characters for your little outlaws novels, makes everything look like its part of an existing "world" with habitants that look like the way they do.

keep going.

p.s. when is the bad ass evil creature gonna make his debut? user added image

I was looking at it and noticed that that text is quite hard to read as the actual size is reduced. Is there a way to make it bigger?
