Good work Legolas_hv. I really like what you have done so far. And thanks for posting a picture of the mouth area. Very helpful. How did you model that area? I assume that you modelled the teeth seperate to the gums and then connected them to the rest of your mesh.
I builded the lower gum, duplicated it and grabed it up then I conected them both extruding the inner edges to make the shape of the throat.
Most of it comes from my imagination because i didn't managed to get a close up of the area.
I will add more detail later.
this is just an unfinished texture.
i'm working really hard for my exams and i dont have much time for maya but i'll finish soon
I'm begining to make some experiments with fur... reaaaaaaaaally hard but i think i can do it well...
you'll have new from me soon! did you think i had gave up?? not yet !!!
muahahahahahaaaa!!!
Maybe thats too much for it, what i mean is that its difficult to create a fur style from nothing, but anyway maybe it is no that hard.
I'll find out as soon as i get home from the taekwondo class this night
However there's only 1 exam left for me and i'll have much more time to work than lately.
Heya Legolas, hows it going? Been watching your progress for quite some time, and it's looking really good. I have to agree that the fur is a reall kicker. I have read some basic stuff on it, and have did some testing, but I need a tut on trimming and combing before I can go any further with it.
hey gl with exams i have last one 2moro, mcfluery if you find maya fur easy u rekon you can help me out with my dilema, every time i smooth (poly smooth) geometry in a scene, not even the geometry with the fur on, and then render it after using maya software the fur isnt there when i render. Go figure
